Welcome to V-Base, a diverse database of volunteering placements across Bath! We currently have over 60 organisations advertising some 100+ placements for students. Most placements require a regular, term-time (or holiday) commitment of a couple of hours a week or every other week. If you are happy to give such a commitment and if you're looking to develop career-enhancing skills, then V-Base is for you! If you are looking for short-term volunteering opportunities or one-offs, check out the other opportunities listed at www.bathstudent.com/volunteer

Volunteering through V-Base is easy - just follow the below stages:

1.  Search the V-Base opportunities by choosing from the categories on the right and clicking [View Details].

2.  Pop into the Volunteer Centre situated in the 1 East corridor (next to Aware) to find out more about the opportunity that you're interested in and to get contact details.

3.  Make contact with your chosen placement.

4.  Start volunteering!

5.  Keep in touch with The Volunteer Centre - Please let us know if you are having any problems/issues with your volunteer placement as we need to hear your feedback! Please inform us if you choose to leave your placement so that we can update our records.
